Before the Sweep:
Permission Required
A representative from the detox center must authorize the sweep by signing the K9 Safety Sweeps agreement.
Pet Management
Ensure that all pets are removed from the premises to prevent any interference with the K9’s detection process.
Site Walkthrough
Our handler will conduct a pre-walkthrough of the facility with a center representative to identify any specific areas of concern or high importance.
During the Sweep:
Comprehensive Inspection
The handler will guide the trained detection dog throughout the facility, performing a thorough yet noninvasive sweep of all areas.
Detection Protocol
If the dog detects narcotics, it will alert by sitting and indicating the exact location with its nose, providing clear evidence of the presence of substances.
Handling Findings
Should any narcotics or firearms be discovered, the detox center representative will decide on the disposal. Please note that our role is limited to detection; we are not responsible for notifying authorities or handling any legal matters.
After the Sweep
Detailed Reporting
A comprehensive report summarizing the findings of the sweep will be provided to the detox center representative. This report will help in understanding any detected issues and taking appropriate action.

Training and Certification
All dogs and handlers go through continuous extensive training in accordance with the International Police and Canine Association (IPCA).
